Join industry and government experts to explore the latest geoscience data and exploration results from across the Territory at Annual Geoscience Exploration Seminar (AGES) 2026.

About AGES

AGES is the Territory’s leading exploration-focused conference featuring presentations from the NT Geological Survey, its partners and the exploration industry. The program showcases new pre-competitive geoscience data and the latest minerals and energy exploration results from across the Territory, providing delegates with fresh ideas, practical insights and valuable networking opportunities.

The 2-day conference will be held in conjunction with the Mining Services Expo, coordinated by the Department of Trade, Business and Asian Relations.

2026 program

The 2026 program will be announced in February and will include highlights from recent NTGS geoscience programs in the Pine Creek Orogen and Amadeus Basin, updates on resource growth and mining developments in Tennant Creek, and onshore gas presentations focused on the Beetaloo Sub-basin. Industry presentations will also cover copper, gold, uranium and critical minerals exploration across the NT.

Delegates can also register for the conference dinner and associated workshops, including the Ore Textures Workshop on 13 April and the Territory Gold Deposits Core Workshop on 16 April. Places for workshops are limited and early registration is recommended.

To register for the conference, dinner and workshops, go to the AGES EventsAir registration portal.
