Territory homeowners and businesses can access a grant of up to $12,000 for the purchase and installation of solar PV systems with eligible batteries and inverters, and for those who already have solar, for batteries and inverters.

Behind‑the‑meter batteries can reduce the cost for households and businesses by reducing the amount of power that is purchased from the grid.

Batteries can also contribute to grid stability and reduce power system costs by replacing demand for gas‑fired generation during evening peaks with solar energy generated during the day.
